Salary package circa US$ 200,000 Tax Free + benefits
Based in the Middle East
A challenging opportunity now exists with a major maritime organization. They are currently seeking to hire an experienced Finance Director to be based in the Middle East.
Principal responsibility of this role is to manage the relationship with major lenders including managing information flows and handling the lenders demands for financial & operational information.
In order to be considered, you must have relevant Middle East experience in a senior Finance role in Maritime/ Ports/ Shipyards.
Responsibilities
• Work with internal departments and the Chairman to collate and compile financial information for dissemination to major lenders
• Manage the lenders expectations in relation to information flows and deal with all requests for information or discussions
• Provide financial and operational information to the lenders in strict compliance with company policies
• Assist the Chairman in managing all relationships with the lenders
• Provide input to strategic financial planning to include opportunities for hedging etc
Requirements
• Qualification in Finance – CA / CPA/ CMA / MBA Finance
• Must have relevant Middle East experience in the Maritime industry (shipbuilding, ship repair or heavy industrial sectors)
• Demonstrable experience in managing financial restructuring & dealing with major lenders
• Understands the banking sector and how lenders think and operate
• Knowledge of financial hedging & working with private equity firms
• Strong communication & presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation and influencing abilities
