The RoleThe RoleOur client is a privately owned commercial business in Abu Dhabi. We are searching for an experienced Finance Director (Arabic speaker only). This role reports to the CFO. Responsibilities include: Overall control of everything related to the financial function of the business including: Cash Control and Risk Management, Accounting, Planning, Internal Controls Regulating, supervising and implementing accurate accounting books Implementing a financial audit on a continuous basis for purpose of monitoring the companys financial performance Monitoring the financial control systems Preparing accurate, timely and regular financial statements Dealing with auditors Preparing annual budget Dealing with Treasury & banks |
RequirementsRequirementsA FLUENT ARABIC SPEAKER ONLY Candidates who have worked in a western country are strongly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have started their career in a Big 4 firm, reaching Managerial level, and will have progressed into a commercial business as FC/FD. Qualified Accountant (CPA, CMA, ACCA) & 10 yrs PQE Experience working at all levels of management to board level Must be a self-driven, results oriented, and have a high multi-task proficiency Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral/written communication skills Solid strategic thinking, data manipulation, and financial analytical skills Ability to lead & develop the finance team Broad systematic experience of financial reporting systems, data query and analysis tools Only candidates living in the UAE will be considered. Salary 50-70k depending on the candidate. |
