The RoleThe RoleOur client is a leading, diversified group of companies, in action for more than 30 years, established a strong presence in the key areas of construction, trading and transportation. Key duties to include: • Managing and preparation of financial strategy for all aspects of the Finance function including treasury, accounting, financial planning and cost management. And monitor during the financial year all the performance of all Business unit concerning operating expenses, actual budget and the compliance of financial standards & policy. • Propose financial systems to the CEO and top management with special emphases on contractual obligations and financial management, and recommend systems and procedures in order to maximize profit and control cost. • Monitor the activities of the Accounting, Management reporting, financial analysis and Treasury functions with the aim to ease the workflow and assist in a speedy top management decisions. • Report the monthly results to the CEO, top management concerning P&L, liabilities, assets, projects, forecasts and investments. • Analyze treasury and cash flow, cost, and expenses and financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas to help him during all negotiation activities with bank to minimize interest rates & foreign currency exposure. • Monitor and supervise the finance standards, policies and procedures to ensure implementation for all departments and compliance with internal and external auditor requirements. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will have: - CA, CPA or other similar qualification - Be educated to at least Bachelor level, concentrating on Finance or Accountancy - At least 5 years past experience in an accountancy position, with some management exposure - Construction industry experience desired, however not essential If you would like to be considered for this position, please apply now online.
