Finance Director

The Company:
Established in the 1989 and following this as a shareholder company in 2010, our client is a leading supplier of shares, bonds, Sukuk bond and mutual funds to the local market in Bahrain.
They are looking to recruit a Finance Director

Duties & Responsibilities:
• To provide leadership and direction to the Finance function and manage the Company’s financial affairs to ensure its financial resources are effectively utilized to achieve long and short-term objectives
• Define the finance strategy in line with the Company’s overall strategy and mission. In doing so, ensure that the Finance function is positioned as a key service provider and partner to the business.
• Direct and facilitate the preparation and consolidation of the annual and long-term Capital, Operating & Revenue budgets and business plans ensuring adherence to the Company’s strategic objectives & goals, and compliance with requisite guidelines and time targets.
• Direct the development of the Finance, Accounting and Reporting policies, procedures systems & personnel
• Maintain effective management of the Company’s financial resources in order to satisfy the Company commitments to shareholders, ensure that the Company has the required amount of funds to finance its agreed budgets, projects and activities, and to enhance shareholder value
• Develop and maintain strong relationships

• Lead and control the budget preparation activity

• Precise and analyzed financial reports to reflect company’s actual business status

• Train and develop staff

Requirements

Qualifications & Experiences
• Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar field
• Master degree referred
• Recognized professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
• Strong leadership ability
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical mind and decision-making ability
• Bahraini nationals
