Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role is to work alongside the regional CEO and lead both the finance function within a large professional services company. You will be responsible for all financial reporting to the CEO and the board - working in close collaboration with the rest of the heads of departments.

Lead commercial dialoguer within the Executive Committee and the broader business - analysing and interpreting business performance in order to provide actionable insights and proactively working with colleagues to overcome any barriers.
Provide clear communication on the business with the Middle East and to the Regional and Global team as required.
Lead all aspects of the finance function in the Middle East : Planning, Monitoring and Reporting systems.
Ensure systems, controls and processes are in place to enable effective monitoring of financial results, attain required level of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls.
Ensure the business meets the Group and IFRS reporting requirements across all the markets in which the Middle East business operates, in addition to local accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
Production of the quarterly financial report close collaboration with the Heads of HR, Quality and Client Services.

The main task of this role is to analyse and interpret the raw financial data with a view to put in place strategic change.

Requirements

10 years + experience in Finance roles.
Demonstrated solid business acumen and influencing skills using management information to drive business performance improvements.
Led change in complex multi-cultural environment.
A track record of progression in a demanding role.
Experience of working in a time-based professional services organisation.
Led a high performance finance function within a multi-national business.
Had experience of living and/or working overseas.
Built and maintained excellent relationships with senior colleagues and peers in previous roles.
Comfortable and authentic leader.
Energetic team player.
Flexible and thoughtful approach to problem solving.
Strong Operational and task orientation with a real desire to deliver discernible results.
Sufficient presence and intellect to obtain trust and respect of senior colleagues.
Outstanding influencing an communication skills.
Excellent English.
Must be currently (or previously) holding a FD position.

Candidates without experience of managing a Middle East region will not be considered.
