Job description / Role

A tier 1 distributor with regional operations, has an urgent need to recruit an FD to be based at their Dubai head office. This is a highly dynamic organisation and the FD will be the trusted adviser to the owners/executive committee.

The Role
- Collaborate effectively with the Product and Order processing team to optimise the order levels according to the Cash flows.
- Liaise with the Treasury department for the fund optimisation and to time the order according to the collection pattern.
- Liaising with Banks for financing, Close involvement in commercial negotiations with financial institutions for effective cash flow
- Lead the Credit and collection team effectively to achieve optimal targets and timely accounting. -Credit quality enhancement through proper study of the market worth of the prospective customers.
- Daily reporting on the working capital utilisation which consist of AR, Inventory, GIT and other important details of the business. (Sales)
- Monthly MIS reporting on the profitability category wise of the month and YTD compared to the budget and the variance thereof.
- Monthly Finance report to CEO on various KPIs of the business.
- Analysis of expenses where variance is high compared to the budget.
- Reduction of DSO to a target of 45 days, with the help of the credit and collection team. Credit levels commensurate with the history and market worth of the customers
- Preparation of yearly budgets including regional, in consultation with the management and the related team.
- Implement various cost control measures to optimise the returns on the cost incurred and economising the operations.
- Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met

Requirements

- CA with min 10 -13 years of post qualification experience
- SAP knowledge and working hands on experience is must
- Preferably from a distribution background
- Middle east experience and based in Dubai
