Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Finance Executive will be required to work as part of the finance team to manage the finance department with responsibility for the monitoring, protection, reporting and the overall financial interests of Mindshare by implementing and adhering to financial best practise at all times.

Additional responsibilities:
- To constantly monitor the remit functionality; to maintain accurate, up-to-date records and submit regular monthly reports to agreed standards as required to ensure the remits effectiveness is maximised and its activities are in line with overall group strategy.
- To summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- To handle duties related to Accounts Payable, including processing invoices, following up with vendors and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- To handle duties related to Accounts Receivable, including processing payments, producing statement of accounts, collections on overdue accounts and account reconciliation when required.
- To constantly look for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the remit.
- Additionally the jobholder is expected to suggest and implement improvements to internal procedures and controls to improve efficiency, reduce costs and to promote and protect the business interests of Mindshare wherever possible.
- To carry out duties as tasked, ensuring that Mindshare service standards, objectives, internal policies & procedures and code of conduct are met or exceeded at all times.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping, financial Reporting, Accounts receivable and payable management, Taxation, and Reporting are a must.
- Strong computer skills are obligatory especially for MS office and accounting systems.
- Very good command in English is a must, Arabic skills are an advantage
- Previous experience with Big 4 Audit firms or finance exposure with a multinational company
- Analytical skills, organisation, attention to detail, decision-making and problem solving are particular characteristics required, as is absolute honesty and integrity.
