The RoleThe RoleObjectives -To liaise with the Development Department in preparing and verifying the assumptions of financial studies with main objective to improve the operational, financial effectiveness and decision making of the existing units and new investments. -Conducts Market Surveys from the financial angle and assists in preparing Feasibility Reports, Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems. Performs financial and cost accounting analysis of data. Key Responsibilities 1. Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability. 2. Conduct Financial Market and Sectors studies and surveys. 3. Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or business units. 4. Evaluates Financial Performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances and recommending timely actions to the management 5. Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis. 6. Interprets financial transactions for users who must make financial or business decisions. 7. Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies. 8. Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports. 9. Construction & development of financial models. 10. Generates Professional Presentations Scope of Responsibility: Knows the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies and procedures which may include some familiarity of other departments and subsidiaries within the Group. Is sensitive to the interrelationship of both people and functions within the group. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/MBA/CMA/CFA§ with finance and accounting concentration or equivalent. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in finance and investment analysis of which 2 years must be in a position assuming similar responsibilities with a leading organization or a Big 4 firm. Skills -Solid analytical, numerical and research skills -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Proficient in both Arabic and English languages |
