Finance Manager – FMCG

Job description / Role

An opportunity with a reputed name in the FMCG sector, an organisation that has seen their brands become the market leaders over the years. Candidates MUST be fluent in Turkish.

Responsible for the management of all accounting and cost accounting processes, maintaining of accounts payable, receivable and general ledger, inventory controls, non-collection related legal matters and coordination with auditors.

Management of General Accounting and Cost Accounting teams
Responsible for all account payables, ensuring payment scheduling as per contracts
Management of banking relationships
Management of general ledger and financial statements
Responsible for costing function to ensure accurate costing of products
Responsible for preparing annual budget for the product costs including manufacturing overheads and for all other overhead expenses
Supervising the accounting of the inventory of raw materials, WIP, spare parts and finished goods at the factory

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor in Business Administration

Minimum Experience:

Accounting management or audit experience of at least 3 years
Total industry experience of at least 8 years
8 years functional experience out of which 3 years should be in an equivalent Management level

Functional Knowledge:

Understanding of Accounting practices
Basic Understanding of IAS/IFRS and Accounting practices
Internal Controls
Reporting and analysis
IT Capabilities
