Based in Saudi our client is a leading business group who provide services in Projects Development, Application Management and Acquisition. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager for a hospital in Saudi.

The Finance Manager will oversee all planning, budgeting, reporting and compliance, and will be accountable for ensuring the accuracy and auditability of all financial transactions.

The Finance Manager role will be very much a hands on, execution related position and will be responsible for the day to day functional finance accountabilities and responsibilities.

The Finance Manager will also participate in such activities as: contract negotiations, vendor reviews, special projects, benchmarks and audits, root cause analysis and other assignments as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Accountable to oversee the business P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, financial performance and condition of LOB (line of business) mitigating risk by recommending solutions and proactively identifying emerging trends (exposures or opportunities)n to help achieve the strategic goals.
- Responsible for the financial operation of the hospital and physicians group practice.
- Responsible of planning cash management strategies.
- Training finance assistants and assist the CFO in hiring finance elated staff.
- Manage the preparation of annual financial budget, quarterly forecasting and month-end corporate reporting.
- Establish and maintain consistent methodologies for performing financial business reviews on effectiveness of the Service Provider relationship.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis reports and management reports.
- Partner with the Accounting Manager to ensure all entries are properly recorded and will be responsible for reviewing the financials before the books close.
- Support the CFO in formulating strategic and long term business plans and financial models.
- Responsible for finalizing the annual statements, notes to the financials and liaising with the external Auditors in the finalization of the Audited Financial Statements.
- Support the CFO in maintaining relationship with banks and servicing the facility lines as available with them.
- Agreeing Zakat liabilities with consultants and supervising the preparation of working notes for zakat assessment.
- Liaising with Internal Auditor and supporting the rectification of any Internal Audit finding related to the Finance Department.

Requirements

- BSc in Accounting/ Finance related field
- Professional qualification (ACCA,CPA,CA OR CMA)
- Masters degree preferred
- +10yrs exp in Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance or Accounting
- + 2yrs exp in similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting reporting systems needed.
- Strong knowledge in IFRS and SOCPA standards.
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables and excellent computer skills.
