Job description / Role
The role will be responsible for accounting policies and procedures involving the maintenance of a precise general ledger, analysis of balance sheet accounts and management financial reporting.
You will also be accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub group within a function.
You will participate in the development of functional strategy and input in global processes and procedures.
Specific Duties will include:
Coordinating all reporting requirements.
Overseeing all project accounting activities, ensuring full compliance with policies.
Assisting the Operational Leaders in pricing/bidding activities.
Developing and mentoring staff within the region.
Meeting all SOX, FCPA and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
CPA or CA qualified is essential.
Minimum 10 years post graduate experience.
Significant experience within the Infrastructure/Civil Engineering Sectors with hands on experience supporting projects.
Middle East experience would be preferred.
The successful candidate must be able to travel within the region at short notice.
