The organization was founded in 2003 and during the last ten years, truly great things have been accomplished and the projects have become more involved and diverse in nature.

Our client is looking for a Personal Finance Manager to support the Founder and Director of the organisation on a long-term, part-time basis in their new offices in Abu Dhabi. The main purpose of the role is to assist the Founder with all of her personal finance matters that will enable her to fully maximise her contribution in her charitable roles. The candidate will be responsible for managing bank accounts, advising the move of funds to ensure adequate balances are in place to cover future payments, and that finances are organised sufficiently to maximise interest.

Further accountabilities include: preparing and submitting annual HMRC returns, executing any personal payments upon approval and performing a monthly review and reconciliation of personal cash flow, and update forecast cash flow to facilitate analysis of any future investments or expenditure.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a UK qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, AAT) with a minimum of 5 years working in a similar role. It is essential that you have experience working in the UK and are familiar with HMRC Personal Tax Rules and Legal requirements.

The candidate will preserve exceptional IT skills and will be an impeccable communicator- with English as their first language. You must have the ability to work well independently, whilst paying attention to detail to ensure all tasks and their outcomes are of the highest accuracy.

Ideally, the role will commence on the 31st of August however, there is flexibility to extend the start date to the 7th September. The organisation is currently based in Dubai however it will be moving to Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi and this is where the role will be ultimately based. Therefore it is preferable that the candidate is based in Abu Dhabi.

This is a part-time contract working on average 15-20 hours per week therefore, it is preferable that the candidate is on a spouse visa.
