Employment: Full Time

Accounting Manager - Riyadh – Saudi Arabia

Salary- 12000-15000 SAR + Benefits as per Law

Our client based in Riyadh is a well-known Paints and Chemical company with over 15 years’ experience with office across MENA region. (Dubai, Saudi, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman, Nigeria, Italy, Kuwait and More)

Due to their expansion they are now seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to do all aspects of the Accounting and Administration within the Saudi Arabia - Riyadh Office.

The ideal candidate will oversee all Riyadh's branch and partner’s financial relationship providing the Management team with up-to-date financial information including monthly management accounts facilitating decision making process.

The Finance Division is a crucial department for the organisation and as a result the candidate MUST portray professionalism and good practice of ethical traits throughout.

Reporting to the Group Finance Controller

Responsibilities include:

Management:
• Maintain a documented system of accounting of policies and procedures
• Oversee operations of the treasury functions, including the design of an organisational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives
• Oversee the extension of credit to customers

Fund Management
• Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment
• Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet on-going operational and capital investment requirements
• Maintain banking relationships
• Assist in determining the company’s proper capital structure

Budgeting:
• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
• Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
• Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction

Financial Analysis
• Engage in on-going cost reductions analysis in all areas of the company.
• Review the performance of the competitors and report on key issues to management
• Engage in bench marking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvements
• Interpret the company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
• Review company bottle necks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of the company throughput
• Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing
• Compile key business metrics and report on them to management
• Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraints analysis and discounted cash flow analysis
• Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management
• Tax planning to improve profitability of the company.

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CMA Qualified
• At least 5 years expertise in similar field/ industry
• Expertise handling and managing bank reconciliations, negotiations, receivables, collection among other financial operations.
• Preference experience working in Saudi Arabia is desirable for this role.
• Knowledge of accounting ERP, SAGE- ERP knowledge is desirable
• Previous experience in managing teams : small to medium size
• Availability to start immediately
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong accounting skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel expertise
• Portray leadership, organisation and negotiation skills
• Arabic speaking males are of preference for this role
