Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly organised Finance Manager to assist the Group Chief Financial Officer on a daily basis whilst providing support to the General Manager and the Trustees of the organisation.
Responsibilities of the role include: annual budget preparation, monitoring and reporting, ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place and in use at all times to protect to financial assets of the Charity and reviewing legally binding contracts for financial implications. The Finance Manager will also construct payment plans for any new licenses, master licensees and distributors in the accordance with agreed terms, manage the accounting function using Sage and Quickbooks software, and administer the purchase ledger ensuring all invoices are reviewed and authorised by the General Manager, ensuring they are paid on a timely basis.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be UK qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, AAT) with a minimum of 5-8 years working in a similar role. It is essential that you have experience working in the UK and are familiar with UK statutory reporting and regulatory requirements. We are looking for a committed individual- a real self-starter with an adaptable nature. The candidate will preserve exceptional IT skills including knowledge of accounting databases and they will be an impeccable communicator - with English as their first language.
This is a temporary contract which would ideally start on the 31st of August and proceed until 30th October, possibly extending by a further month. As this role is for 2-3 months we require applicants to be on a spouse visa.
