Finance Manager

Job description / Role

This position is based in Cairo and reports directly to the General Manager. The Finance Manager with have two direct reports being the Credit Controller and the Management Accountant, he will also work closely with all department heads across the company.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading and controlling the accounting (financial, management and cost), taxation, internal audit, treasury and IT functions of the company while ensuring that the practices in these areas are in line with the Group policies and procedures and the Group and statutory reporting requirements are met.
As a cross functional role the Finance Manager will ensure the Group and statutory reporting is done on time, correctly and in line with the Group and legal requirements. Monitor and prepare investment appraisal for the companies liquid and fixed assets, whilst ensuring that the pro-forma financial plans including budgets, forecasts and strategy are in line with the Groups schedules.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:
• Minimum 6 to 8 years experience in a finance role.
• Dual passport nationality (Egyptian + ) and willing to travel to Israel
• Previous exposure to the manufacturing industry and have good understanding of all business processes
• Good experience and understanding of actual costing VS standard costing
• Previous exposure and good working knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of tax legislation
• Experience in negotiation
• Good communication skills and fluency in English
