Finance Manager

Job description / Role

- Responsible for overall financial management of the business
- Providing strategic as well as tactical advise on all financial matters
- Developing and implementing a periodic financial reporting regime
- Developing a sound and robust internal control and cost control mechanism
- Responsible for conduct of external audit and all external reporting
- Day to day management of all financial and accounting operations including billings, procurement, etc.
- Interacting with banks for all financing and operational requirements
- Cash management and treasury.
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
- Development and implementation of improved month end closing procedures resulting in a more time effective month end close.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Monitoring all payables and payroll

Requirements

- At least 7years UAE experience in finance with a Property Developer
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making and a hands on approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
- Ability to work confidentially
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
