Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Finance Managers role would be to work alongside the Company's Chief Financial Officer and to develop, maintain and monitor all routine Finance department functions. Specifically the Finance Managers main responsibilities will include the following:

Development of Internal Finance Processes and Procedures
- Develop policies and procedures for the Finance department.
- Ensure compliance with proper record-keeping and maintenance of accounts.
- Ensure that adequate financial controls are in place and adhered to for all financial transactions.
- Supervise monthly payroll and employees benefits.
- Keep senior management apprised of any key financial and operating issues and reports as per requirements.

Maintenance of Accounts and Preparation of Reports
- Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all Company transactions and assets.
- Preparation of all financial reports including management accounts, profit and loss / income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets.
- Prepare reports to assist senior management in making thoughtful financial decisions within suitable timeframes.
- Perform period closings and reportings.
- Direct and coordinate the establishment of budget programs, preparation of the quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports, budgets and supporting budget documents.
- Consolidate quarterly and annual financial budgets for the Company.

External Compliance and Relationships
- Ensure compliance with the relevant auditing, regulatory and legal standards and requirements, including external audits, tax reporting and other required outside disclosures or reporting.
- Develop external relationships with appropriate third-parties, i.e. Auditors, Tax Accountants, Bankers, and other service providers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance and Accounting, ideally with a professional qualification (CPA / CMA / ACCA).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience, with experience in the Food and Beverage industry and in the UAE.
- Proven track record of developing policies and procedures for the Finance department to ensure compliance with proper record-keeping and maintenance of accounts.
- Proven track record of completing all required financial and accounting reports on deadlines.
- Should be organized, detail oriented and have excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, innovative, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
