Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a growing reputable group is currently recruiting a Finance Manager for the Automotive Business. This position is reporting to the General Manager and Group Finance Director.

Job Objectives:
To support the set up and operations (Sales & After Sales)-To support in Budgeting/Forecasting/MIS reporting & achievement of KPIs. To ensure Compliance & policies, cash control, credit controls etc. and adherence to local statutory and regulatory regulations to ensure the timely and accurate provisions of management information to all relevant business users

Responsibilities:
- Support in the setup of the ERP system of the company in a phased manner
- Support in the setup of accounting and financial reporting
- Prepare the Standard Operating Procedures for the finance functions for sales and after sales divisions
- Forecasting cash flow, working capital requirements and the P&L
- Manage the cash and bank and make appropriate cash calls from the company
- Maintain records of the operating costs of the branch's on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis
- Maintain records of Sales and comparison with the targets.
- Provide business unit wise trial balance, balance sheet and P&L Statements on a periodic basis
- Provide financial information as required by the Group
- Providing timely reporting of Issues to the management
- Assist in devising the financing options provided to customers
- Maintaining debtors collection/ ageing records
- Dealing with OEMs for supply commitments, payments and refunds
- Dealing with the Banks for LC and financing
- Making adequate provisions for doubtful recovery of bets based on management reviews
- Making adequate provisions for warranty provisions
- Ensure that the Group overhead allocation to the company is appropriate and is accounted

External Reporting Relationships:
- OEMs and other suppliers of the company
- Bank Representatives of the company
- Government representatives for utility and immigration purpose
- Statutory Auditors

Performance Criteria (KPI):
- Excellent demonstration of financial accounting, Oracle Fusion and MIS reporting
- Hands on support in planning and business analysis
- Contribution towards maximizing the efficiencies in procurements and disbursement process
- Optimum use of Management tools and processes
- Proactive approach and problem solving mind-set
- Maintenance of agreed Working Capital throughout

Requirements

- Chartered Accountant/ MBA Finance/Masters Degree for Commerce from a recognized university
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the capacity to lead finance function for an Automotive Business
- Excellent working experience of Microsoft Office
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Good working experience of Oracle/ SAP
- Excellent Analytical Review and Financial Reporting skills
