Finance Manager

Job description / Role

To oversee the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the companies finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Implementing Accounting controls and procedures.
- Prepare notes to the financial statements and variance analysis as necessary.
- Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
- Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
- Coordinates the annual independent audit including development of the single audit report, audit confirmations and company prepared schedules.
- Financial modelling and analysis.
- Cash management and treasury.
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
- Development and implementation of improved month end closing procedures resulting in a more time effective month end close.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Monitoring all payable and payroll.

Requirements

- 10+ years experience in finance and at least 3 years experience as a financial Manager in a multinational company.
- Background in the construction/ real estate sector is a must. Experience in having worked with RERA, Escrow account previously.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making and a hands on approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic working environment.
- Ability to work confidentially.
- Highly responsible & reliable .
- Previous experience in working with PeachTree.
- Should be CA, CPA, CMA &/OR ACC.
