Job Description
We are looking for top calibre finance manager to manage all of our finance and accounting in Tehran as we continue our rapid expansion throughout the region. This person will work directly with our Finance Director and be responsible for overseeing the accounting, consolidation, analysis of financial data and ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements.
The primary responsibilities include:
• Management reporting for all of our Iran businesses on a monthly basis
• Preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts in coordination with management
• Establishing processes for payments, invoicing, and collections and ensuring they are being followed
• Managing the accounting team to ensure all accounting entries are made accurately each month
• Managing the relationship with external auditors and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
• Monitoring cash flow and shareholder funding
• Advising on tax and legal matters specific to Iran
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:
• Fluent in Farsi and English
• Top academic background
• 6-10 years of experience, preferably both at a Big 4 accounting firm and a high-growth company
• Capable of building a complex finance department with strong processes from scratch, including managing, payroll, A/R, reporting and other key functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated & results-driven; willing to work hard in a fast-paced start-up environment
