Finance Manager

Job description / Role

To manage financial policy development, financial planning. Oversees the budgeting process for capital and operating budgets, preparation of comprehensive financial reports, statements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements and control it very well.
- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning.
- Producing long-term business plans.
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance.
- Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure and predicting future trends.
- Managing budgets.
- Developing and managing financial systems/models.
- Carrying out business model and developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
- Supervising staff.
- Analyzing competitors and market trends.
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations.
- arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree at least in Finance, accounting, business or a comparable discipline. Preferred to be CFA certified.
- More than five years experience in finance management (in similar role).
- Analytic, detail-oriented, organizational, strong communication skills, excellent math skills.
