Finance Manager

Job description / Role

This position is for a start up branch of a global company so will need to grow with the pace of the company. The candidate will report to the Financial Controller in Bahrain and will also support Northern Gulf territory when required

Prime Objective:
To play a pro-active role and provide the management team insights into the operational issues from a finance perspective, in addition to the core responsibility of finance and controlling.


Key Tasks:
• Providing and interpreting financial information.
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Ensuring adequate and correct funding structure, taking into account the business needs
• Provide an effective MIS to the Management team.
• Active part in review and finalization of investment proposals.
• Management of working capital, Process flows.
• Establishing an authority limit and monitor compliance
• Identify and recommend solutions for business process loopholes.
• Policy Development
• Business Modelling

Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduate in Finance / Accounting

• CPA Certification (Chartered Public Accountant)

• Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable regulations.

• Computer Skills – Knowledge of integrated ERP Systems e.g. SAP, Axapta, Oracle.

Preferable Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate clearly read and write effectively in English.

• English language level shall not be less than proficiency

• Ability to effectively work in a multi-gender, multi-national work team, whilst displaying particular sensitivity towards cultural and ethnic differences.

• Ability to travel frequently, in accordance to operational requirements

• Excellent planning, analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to understand, interpret and anticipate operating environment.
