The RoleThe RoleFinance Manager - Libya Real Estate Developer, looking for a strong Finance Manager to join their office in Libya. The office is currently working on two Multi Billion $ projects that includes a Hotel, Commercial Buildings, Luxury Villas and all of the associated Civil Engineering and Infrastructure works. You will be assisting the CEO by assuming responsibility for the management and control of corporate and project accounting activities, financial and management reporting, taxation and administration matters, revenue control, budgeting, forecasting and the provision of other financial input to the strategic direction and initiatives of the company. You will also ensure that the company’s policies and procedures are in line with corporate compliance standards, highlighting to management any potential legal compliance issues and playing a significant role in safekeeping the Company’s interests. The successful candidate is likely to have: - Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar. Graduate degree in Business or Finance a plus. - Professional accreditation such as CPA, ACCA, or similar. - A minimum of 10 years’ Finance Management experience. Minimum of 5 years at senior management level. - Prior direct experience in a start up role establishing accounting systems and policies. - Substantial work experience within both developed and developing countries - Strong accounting, financial modelling and financial reporting skills - Ability to influence at all levels |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate is likely to have: - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar from a recognized accredited institution. Graduate degree in Business or Finance a plus. - Professional accreditation such as CPA, ACCA, or similar. - A minimum of 10 years’ Finance Management experience. Minimum of 5 years at senior management level with direct responsibility for executive-level reporting. - Prior direct experience in a start up role establishing accounting systems and policies. - Sophisticated knowledge of technical aspects of financial reporting and project accounting - Substantial work experience within both developed and developing countries - Work experience within multi-cultural environments - Fluent English and Arabic speaker highly desirable - Experienced and accurate decision maker - Strong negotiation skills - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong accounting, financial modelling and financial reporting skills - Ability to influence at all levels - Strong organization and team building abilities - Highly organized, able to effectively manage multiple initiatives |
