Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

You will be responsible for:
• Presentation of Financial Reports
• Preparation annual budgets
• Preparation of Financial Analysis Reports
• Reports on financial aspects of Company business plans
• Review of International Financial reporting standards time to time and update the team to adhere with the changes, if any.
• To ensure timely payment of dues to company employees, vendors/ subcontractors etc and also follow up for timely collection of due payments from Customers including verification of all payment requests/ Invoices.
• Coordinate with the company appointed auditors to for timely auditing and effective reporting of financial position of the company.
• Maintain appropriate relations with funders and make reports as necessary, ensuring compliance with any contracts.
• Identify opportunities for funded development of the service and to submit bids and applications accordingly.
• Maintain day-to-day financial control of the service within budget heads agreed by the trustee board.
• Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored, including credit control.
• Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and in use at all times.
• Make regular reports to the governing body on income, expenditure and any variations from budgets.
• Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions for funding, for grant aid, for contracts and any other initiatives.
• Act as cheque signatory for and authorize expenditure up to limits as agreed by the governing body.
• To coordinate and ensure ordering of Materials as per Economic Order Quantity, considering Store Capacity, estimated periodic consumption of Materials etc.
• To reconcile monthly stock reports covering opening balance, receipts, consumption, closing balance etc on discipline wise and for each project.
• Analyze monthly stock records and report periodic variances of materials consumption compared estimated/ projected quantities/ budget.
• Implementing Quality Management System in their area
• To ensure Implementation of Quality policy and objectives in his area
• Implementing the identified corrective and preventive action

Requirements

CA/ ICWA/ CPA/ CFA/ Post Graduate Degree in Commerce.

10 years minimum, Out of which at least 3 Years as Finance Officer

Should have experience in: Accounting procedures/ transactions particularly of Construction company with specific emphasis on cost control. Exposure shall include monthly Trial Balance, Profit and Loss Account, Materials Inventory Accounting/ Management, Variance Analysis, Monthly Project Cost Statement etc.
