Finance Manager – Qatar
An International School are seeking a Finance Professional to lead the Finance and Accounting function.
The role requires someone to ensure the accurate and timely management of financial information and accounts, to assume the responsibility of cost control monitoring and flagging potential issues and devising corrective action.
Other responsibilities include:
• Helping to prepare an annual budget
• Attending to queries and advising parents as required regarding their School fees.
• Liaise with Admissions in relation to student enrolment, payment of fees etc.
• Review and monitor School fees debts and liaise with the School and parents to ensure debt is collected.
• Manage a team of 2-3 Accountants to develop them and ensure they deliver to a high standard.
• Liaise with Auditors and prepare year-end Financial Statements.
Requirements
Requirements:
• A Finance (or a related discipline) degree level qualification from a reputable university or substantial relevant experience.
• A Qualified or part-qualified Accountant preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Finance Role
• Relevant industry experience in education – International schools in particular - a big advantage
• Must be based in Qatar
• Proficiency in English (Arabic a big plus)
