Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly established and renowned education institution based in Doha. Our client is looking to hire a Finance Manager for the organisation. This individual will be fully responsible for the finance function and will report directly to the Business Manager.
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting. You will have experience of providing accurate and timely management information as well as the production of financial statements. As a result you should have had exposure working with external Auditors or have trained within this environment.
You will provide budgeting and forecasting support for a number of individuals and departments across the business and be adept at identifying cost saving measures. You should also have a comprehensive understanding of the workings of a finance function and be able to implement new processes and procedures to improve the accuracy and depth of information provided by the finance team.
Requirements
The success candidate should be a qualified Accountant with at least 10 years experience working within a finance environment. You should be a strong communicator and be able to adapt to a changing and challenging work environment. It is essential that you already have experience of managing a finance team and can motivate and lead individuals. Preference will be given to those already working within an education environment although this is not essential.
