The Finance Manager has to plan, direct, and coordinate the activities relating to Finance & Accounting depts., fiscal reporting, debt & credit management, cash management and investments opportunities for opening new Restaurants & Business. Establish Finance & Accounting Policies and procedures. He has to formulate, execute broad financial policy which supports the growth of company. Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with developed, approved procedures and broad policies.
•Formulate Business and Financial strategy. Planning, monitoring & Reporting of management activities.
Development of Policies, Systems, processes for Accounting & Finance depts.
•Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements.
•Ensure, in close cooperation with the Managing Partner that an appropriate financial policy framework is in place to guide the company’s financial decision making, especially clarity will be required on turnover, profit, costs, investment and forward planning.
•Contributing to strategic planning and development as a member of executive team.
•Submit Financial planning and annual budget proposals & forecast to the Managing Partners
•Providing sound financial advice to the Managing Partner and other Department Managers.
•Providing an effective financial management service to the Company.
•Responsible for the Risk Management activity of the company
•Financial staff management, motivation, training and retention of human capital.
•Provide advice to Department Managers on Annual Budgets and its timely execution.
•Give Support to all department heads on company’s strategic plan and its effective implementations.
•Conduct feasibility study on new restaurants openings & new business proposals.
•Advise on the likely financial consequences of all proposed courses of actions.
•Provide accounting services and support to the accountants for in planning and controlling their work, It includes financial accounting, management accounting, forecasting, and budgeting and control systems.
•Prepare the statutory annual accounts in conjunction with the auditing firm
•Plan and manage cash flow and investment activity in consultation with the Managing Partner.
•Monthly delivery of management accounts
•Annual delivery of audited financial accounts
•Monthly production of cash flow forecast
•Achievement of annual cost savings targets
•Work with the Managing Partner to set up and
monitor departmental budgets & Forecast
•Managing Banking Relations & raising debts.
•A co-ordinal relationship with all and be a good Team Player
University Qualifications : ACA / ICWA or any Masters Degree in Accounting
Other certifications : MBA Finance
Previous experience : 5 to 10 years working experience in Finance & Accounting Depts.
Preferred : 5 years working experience as Finance Manager of a retail company preferably in Restaurant or any Food business.
Special knowledge : Formulate Business and Financial strategy. Planning, monitoring, Reporting of management activities. Development of Policies, Systems, processes
Other Skills : Microsoft Word , Excel, PowerPoint, ERP & Accounting Packages.
