Employment: Full Time

Our client, a newly acquired Telecommunications Distribution Company, seeks a seasoned Finance Manager for their international operations based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With links and support of an international major holding group, this exciting opportunity will be responsible for the financial management of this company who are renowned for their innovation in the region.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the proven performer we seek will be responsible for:

• Overall responsibility for the financial management such as business planning, budgeting, cash management, billing and bookkeeping.
• Providing advice and guidelines to CEO on key matters related to Finance.
• Ensuring all funds, physical assets and other property assigned to Finance and organization are properly safeguarded, maintained and administered.
• Providing management with timely and accurate reporting, and confidence in the integrity of the financial system.
• Providing financial advice on business structure, plans and operations, as well as identifying, recommending and implementing business solutions.
• Directing, coordinating and supervising the activities of assigned organization to achieve the Company's goals and objectives related to Finance.
• Recommends long range objectives, plans and programs for Finance Department.
• Ensures Finance Department is staffed with competent personnel and that key personnel are continuously trained and developed.
• Recommends performance standards for key areas of operations including but not limited to, cash flow projections, costing parameters for key operating areas, operational efficiency of assigned organizations, training and development of personnel, etc.
• Supervises accounts function to facilitate financial accuracy and reliability.
• Prepares monthly management reports (Shops, Kiosks, & Service Center Reports and Financial result) in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensures accounting policies and procedures are implemented and in compliance with the overall company policies.
• Provides technical guidance and advice to other Division and Section Heads in improving their operational efficiency.
• Reviews and analyses financial performance in relation to annual plans and programs.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties related to Finance as required.

Requirements

Essential attributes include:
• Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Finance, with professional membership as a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant preferred.
• 10 years experience in a similar field, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior managerial position of a relatively large retail / distribution company.
• Computer literate, particularly in Finance related software packages
• Experience working in the Middle East essential.
