Job description / Role
Finance Manager - Fixed Assets
Candidate initially required for 6 months, Can be extended afterwards
Job responsibilities:
- To manage the Fixed Asset Management activities for Head Office, all Outstations and all Group companies, to comply with internationally accepted accounting standards and Companys policies
- Periodically consolidating, analyzing and reporting of Fixed Assets Financial and Statistical information for Head Office, all Outstations and all Group companies for senior management decision making and for presenting Companys Financial Reports.
- Custodian of the Fixed Asset Policies & procedures manual and Fixed Asset Inventory System and ensuring compliance across all group companies and outstations
Requirements
- University degree in accounting and must be followed by membership in an internationally recognized professional accounting body like ACA, ACCA of UK or CPA of USA or equivalent
- Must have in-depth technical knowledge in Fixed Assets Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of which 2 years industry experience.
- Oracle Finance Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Accounts payable modules.
- Business Objects.
- Asset Management system.
- Technical knowledge in Financial Accounting & Analysis and detailed knowledge of all modules in Oracle Financials.
- Knowledge in Oracle Financials.
- Knowledge in MS Office tools
