The Role


The Role

Our client, a very well known organization in UAE is looking to recruit a qualified FINANCE OFFICER to be responsible for all payable and receivable operations of the business.

The position reports to the Financial Controller.

*Manage all monthly payments and receivables for both US$ and AED transactions

*Compile and provide monthly operation cost schedules

*Monitor in detail the financial position

*Receive and process payment of invoices

*Check for supports for all types of remittances

*Ensure for required approvals

*Account payable and receivables through Oracle Financials

*Petty cash disbursements

*Arrangement of Cash to Master

*Maintain up to date Payable ledger and Receivables ledger

*Preparation and charging of Provision

*Follow up for outstanding balances

*Supports for fixed assets accounting and other recharges to inter-companies

*Queries on outstanding from vendors and inter companies

*Preparation of various reports and presentations on ad-hoc basis for finance department

*Liaison with auditors - providing supports for queries

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

*University degree in accounting is essential

*About 3-4 year experience in Agency business and financial accounting

*Strong analytical skills, capable of handling requested accounting jobs accurately and quickly.

*Flexible team player with the capability to work in a multi-cultural environment

*Excellent communication skills - both oral and written

Salary: AED 9,000/-
