Finance & Operations Director

Job description / Role

Our client a UK based organisation with operations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are looking for a Finance & Operations Director to run the finances of the organisation in the Middle East.

Budgeting, planning and reporting
Preparation accounts and reports
Ensure all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
Liaise with auditors in regards to group financial accounts
Applying financial controls and compliance management
and reporting standards and requirements.
Manage foreign exchange exposure
Review contracts
Handle licensing
AR, AP and GL responsibility
Petty Cash management
VAT returns and withholding tax responsibility

Requirements

WESTERN CANDIDATE ONLY
UK Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent)
5 – 8 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in Sage and Quickbooks
Excellent communication skills
Self Starter
