Job description / Role
- Must have a thorough understanding of the Insurance industry operations.
- Monthly book closure and preparation of monthly financial statements of PL, Balance sheet and Cash flow Statements.
- Credit control and Receivable/Payable Management. This includes sending of periodic statements, allocations, account reconciliations and follow-up of collections.
- Payment schedules monitoring and reporting. This includes monitoring of PPW for both insurance and reinsurance payments and withholding tax payments.
- Managing large volume of Insurance receipts and payments as per SAMA regulations and strictly adhere to compliance requirements.
- Monitoring and reporting of revenue billing for insurance and reinsurance transactions as per approved revenue recognition policies.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
- Meeting the of statutory and internal financial reports requirements as required by the Auditors and SAMA Regulations.
- Ensuring the appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
- Control and monitoring of the payroll process.
Requirements
- University Degree
- ACCA/CA/CMA or other Equivalent accredited qualifications.
- Minimum 5-7 years in the Finance /Accounts Department of Insurance Companies.
- Must be proficient in Integrated Insurance systems and MS Excel.
