Employment: Full Time

The position supports the reporting accountant and is responsible for the Financial Accounting processes and financial ledgers within Saudi Ericsson.

The role involves providing timely and accurate financial results covering the entire Saudi Ericsson organization. This requires daily posting and reconciliation of primary ledgers and trial balance utilizing a Sage Tetra Line 500 enterprise wide financial software system.

The role supervises payables, receivables, payroll, fixed assets, cash books and is responsible for all posting and reconciliation within the trial balance/general ledger.

The role includes daily preparation of financial journals and monthly financial statements and financial analysis required to support the company and the external annual audit.

The role is responsible for financial procedures/processes and financial control of all ledgers, together with control of the annual budget and preparation of all governmental returns for zakat, payroll/GOSI and classification.
- Authorizing and posting journal voucher, payments and receipts.
- Approving general ledger account codes and coding.
- Check and verify payment to suppliers.
- Reconciliation for all primary ledgers including bank accounts and all trial balance accounts.
- Providing and reconciling accruals, prepayment, provision, suspense and inter company accounts.
- Month and year end closing.
- Assist in preparation of annual budget/forecast to prepare a phase income, balance sheet and investment statement.
- Control of capital expenditure and disposals including calculating monthly depreciation.
- Stock accounting and stock provisioning.
- Preparation and analysis of operating income statements and balance sheet statements.
- Responsible for all costs allocations to Cost Centres for both direct and indirect cost.
- Liaseon and preparation of information for external auditors (Zakat and KPMG).
- Responsible for reconciling the financial and cost ledgers at month end.
- Adhoc account analysis and financial analysis of monthly results.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Accredited University.
- A thorough understanding of double entry book keeping and financial statement preparation.
- 5 Years relevant work experience showing progression within the role.
- ERP or computerized financial ledger experience.
- Exposure to Financial database query/reporting and Excel spreadsheets.
- Analytical and problem solving ability.
- Can do attitude working with multi discipline staff.
- Confidentiality and a duty of care for financial information.
- Strong written and oral ability in English.
