Our client is a global network of sports channels with headquarters across the Middle East, France, Indonesia and the US is currently undergoing significant executive talent growth given its formation in 2012. The firm currently operates and provides services across the Middle East, North Africa, France, USA, Indonesia, Canada, Hong Kong and Thailand. The Financial Advisor is responsible for providing financial guidance and investment to company regarding investment strategies and to advise the Executive Director to select the financial products and services that best meet the current and future business needs of the company.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources and Financial Affairs, and managing a high performing team; this role is responsible for the following:
- Provide financial advice.
- Recommend strategies that can use to achieve the financial goals and objectives, including advice on debt management, cash management, insurance coverage and investments.
- Identify and keep abreast of new market trends.
- Use spreadsheets and market research to back up financial advice.
- Review accounts to determine if changes necessitate new financial strategies.
- Oversee investments and make changes as necessary in order to support the company.
- Leverage business knowledge to determine prudent and appropriate strategy to meet the company's needs by recommending financial solutions.
- Proactively build relationships with potential and existing clients to meet business objectives.
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements.
- Communicate and assess profit and loss to provide useful insight into financial position.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
- Candidates must also possess either a Masters Degree, be a Chartered Accountant, be a Certified Practicing Accountant or be a Certified Management Accountant.
- A minimum of 10 years professional experience in accounting or audit is essential.
- Candidates must possess knowledge in various budget methods, tax systems and laws, investment approaches and strategies, financial control cycles, local and international business cycles, and significant experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience in the broadcasting, media or comparable industry would be highly regarded.
- The ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and make strategic decisions is critical to the success of this role.
- Exceptional communication skills, confidentiality and commercial acumen is necessary.
