Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the Gulf region's Automotive industry and encompasses every aspect of the Automotive business; from passenger and commercial vehicles and construction equipment sales and service, to used car sales and rental and leasing.

Al Futtaim Auto Center (ALAC) is part of the Al Futtaim's Automotive Division. ALAC has six divisions comprising of Body Centers Toyota & Lexus within UAE, Fast Repair, Customs & Classics, Auto Equip, Tyre Zone and Fastfit. ALAC offers end to end solutions in aftersales for both business to business & retail customers.
We are currently looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to be based in our Dubai office. Reporting to the Business Unit Finance Manager (BUFM), you will be responsible for providing analytical, commercial and informational support to the business and hence contribute to performance review, operational decision making and improvement plans in meeting the company's profitability and financial objectives.

Specific Tasks to be carried out include:
- Supporting BUFM in the preparation of annual plans and periodical reviews
- Support and advise BUFM in Project evaluation and recommendations.
- Help the business prepare detailed feasibility reports and projections and recommend the same based on AFM guidelines.
- Help the business in putting together market entry strategies as we move overseas.
- Preparing monthly management reports and reports for management board
- Preparing Divisional and Retail KPI and composites
- Supporting BUFM in Divisional Performance Review and Variance analysis
- Co-ordinate and support Automotive Finance Shared Service (AFSS) team in GL review and accounting related issues
- Review and advise BUFM in Inventory and Order planning by analysing historical data and validating underlying assumptions
- Review and Monitor Divisional / Branch level overdue and follow-up with the Divisional team for corrective actions
- Provide analytical support to BUFM in evaluating Divisional inbound and outbound pricing strategies
- Support review of procurement process / analysis and control
- Advice and support BUFM / AFSS and business units in system and process development for new initiatives and existing process improvements
- Develop and Design Information Queries in SAP BW to support Business team.

Requirements

- An MBA Finance or Chartered Accountancy degree is a must.
- A commercially focused individual.
- Expert accounting knowledge
- 4 years similar experience, with good knowledge of SAP systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP-BW will be an advantage
- Analytical and process oriented
- Well organized with excellent communication skills
- Should possess good knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to manage large databases warehousing tools
- Self starter and a strong team player
