Financial Analyst - FAMCO, Finance - Head Office, Jeddah, KSA

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Analyst to produce detailed reporting on the performance of the business.

The role will interact with the areas of the business and the different departments to gain the awareness and understanding of the reasons behind the business performance.

Gaining the confidence of the senior management team to produce accurate and robust financial analysis.

Job Responsibilities/ Key Accountabilities:
- Production of the weekly reporting detailing the current performance of each business area.
- Assisting in the production of the monthly management reporting pack.
- Robust and accurate analysis of the key movements in the P&L.
- Completing monthly commentary associated with the performance of the business.
- Assisting in the production of the yearly budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Aiding in the production of the bi-monthly board meeting material.
- Production of the monthly sales reports for unit sales.
- Managing and being the custodian of the commission policies and ensuring the calculation and payment are as per policy.
- Managing all CAPEX requests and ensuring policy is being adhered to.
- Developing the controls for the management of CAPEX spends for network expansion.
- Learning key roles and responsibilities of other team members.
- Ad-hoc reports and duties as and when required.
- Occasional travel will be required.

Requirements

The Finance Analyst is a key position which will require significant variance and report writing skill and understanding. You will be studying for your accountancy qualification with good finance experience. Excellent communications skills - you will be expected to communicate clearly, effectively, assertively and professionally with the local management team and HQ management team.

- 2-3 years experience in a related role, training to be an Accountant with a B.Com or Bachelors in finance/accounting or related field.
- Able to communicate effectively with all groups of people, from the customer to the sales managers.
- Understanding of financial accounting rules.
- Proven experience in setting up controls and processes.
- Experience of relationship building.
- The ability to provide innovative thinking on key business issues.
- The ability to deliver under pressure; high self-motivation.
- Must have a good command of English and Arabic.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
