Job Purpose:
To provide analytical / commercial / Information support to BUFM (UAE) & FAMCO Management team, to contribute to performance reviews / operational decision making and improvement plans in meeting the company profitability & financial objectives. Support growth and strategy.

Description:
Annual plans and Rolling Forecast:
Support BUFM in the preparation of annual plans and periodical reviews.

MIS and Management reporting:
(a) Preparation of monthly management reports and presentation for management board.
(b) Reporting and analysis for each Famco division and brand including a strong KPI focus
(c) Support BUFM in divisional performance reviews and variance analysis
(d) Co-ordinate and support AFSS team in GL review and accounting related issues.
(e) Review manage and check incentive schemes and payments
Working Capital and Cashflow:
(a) Review and advise BUFM in all aspects of working capital planning by analyzing historical data and validating underlying assumptions
(b) Review and Monitor Divisional / Branch level overdue and follow-up with the Divisional team for corrective actions.

Commercial Support:
(a) Provide analytical support to BUFM in evaluating divisional pricing strategies, specific focus on FX risk
(b) Support review of procurement process / analysis and control
(c) To support and advise BUFM in capex and project evaluation and prepare feasibility reports
(d) Assist rents and leasing division directly with all aspects of accounting / financial analysis and policy development

System and process Development:
(a) Advice and support BUFM / AFSS and business units in system and process development for new initiatives and existing process improvements.
(b) Become a SAP super user and a key project member in the proposed implementation of SAP BW

Performance Indicators:
* Adherence to agreed timelines.

* Assist management in understanding financial metrics and the influences upon them

* Provide objective analysis and Recommendations
* Possess process knowledge and SAP requirements
* Co-ordination with STS/AFSS/ business to support process changes.

Job context:
The job entails analytical and information support to business units in achieving the financial and profitability objectives. The job holder coordinates with the BUFM and divisional senior management teams in delivering the above objectives. The jobholder will liaise and support AFSS team on a continuous and daily basis in interpreting the financial records and ensuring accuracy within the management information systems.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Degree in Accounting / Newly qualified Chartered Accountant

Minimum Experience: 5 / 8 years similar experience

Job-Specific Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, analytical, advanced systems skills in particular MS Excel and SAP, ability to manage and understand a large, complex, multi branded business, good communication skills and team player, ability to work off own initiative,

Behavioural Competencies: able to plan & prioritise tasks; initiative; self starter; strong team player, positive can do attitude
