Job description / Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person with a warehouse/logistics experience, ready to turn around a 3 platforms in Jabal Ali in daily basis if needed.
Except one day in Head Office with the Finance manager, our person will have to employ all the week between the warehouses.
To be representative of finance at the three platforms (food, non-food, fruits and vegetables).
Reporting to the Finance Manager at GCC-Head Office, the candidate will have to handle the below tasks :
To Review the existing procedures for the Three platforms.
To Suggest a new procedure for some places ( mainly receiving area)
To check the efficiency of platforms systems.
To do a periodic CBM control
To prepare the stock takes in collaboration with finance and logistics.
To approve all the stock adjustments before any proceeding.
To provide a detailed analysis to any adjustment.
Example for waste:
Last quantity received date.
Shelving life for the concerned items.
Expiry date day of the receiving
Based on the above, to determinate the reason of the waste (platform storage and maneuvers, extra quantity ordered ...)
Follow up of stores and suppliers claims.
Weekly report to be presented every Thursday to FM, recapitulating all the warehouses activities.
Insuring the intermediation between finance and logistics.
To participate to end of the month reports with the AP supervisors.
Requirements
My client is looking for a Financial Analyst / Junior Financial Controller.
MUST HAVE LOGISTICS - WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE : COMPULSERY
Young, Dynamic, business minded, hardworker, autnomous, career oriented.
Ideal background:
Experience in LOGISTICS / WAREHOUSE.
Experience with FMCG / RETAIL companies.
French/Arabic is considered as a plus.
