Role: Financial Analyst

Overview:
Our client is a leading luxury brand company operating across the Middle East, is recruiting a Financial Analyst for its retail business in Dubai.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing financially all the UAE based distribution companies by putting in place the adequate tools to ensure tight control and follow up.

- Analysing cash needs according to new projects & approaching Banks to ask for new or additional facilities:
* Balance sheet analysis (Fixed assets, Current assets, Liabilities & Shareholders Equity)
* D/E ratio analysis
* Monitoring of Bank covenants.

- Preparing a 12 month's Cash flow projection on a monthly basis to help Managers assessing their needs in terms of Cash for the coming new projects and taking the adequate actions to avoid unpleased situations.

- Interpreting financial figures included within the TDB & preparing financial reports on a monthly basis to help the Country Manager making economic or business decisions (Stocks, Receivables, Payables, divest of some brands and closing of bad performer's stores).

- Working on JV project from the initiation till the set up (Business plan model & coordination between all the departments to ensure a smooth progress of operations); Leading the project as a Coordinator between all the division managers (Logistics, Finance, HR, Administration, Management) involved from both sides to ensure the respect of the set up date.

- Setting up & developing new tools to closely control & follow up on business operations including inventory management, Collections & Payables, Marketing expenses.

- Participating actively in the budgeting process for all divisions and entities 3 times/year with the involvement of the division/general managers & accountants.

Requirements

Candidates MUST have the following requirements:

- Bachelors in Finance & Accounting.

- MBA from a recognised business school (ideally top 20 school).

- Certification from any of the following: CA, CMA, CFA, ACCA from UK or US.

- Ideally speaks both Arabic and English fluently.
