Salary AED 17-22k / month
Our client operates in the Media industry. Due to sustained growth, were now searching for a young professional with experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
Please note this role involves travel to Afghanistan, once a month for a few days.
Prepare and circulate weekly revenue report of the group comprising of 12 businesses across four countries.
Analyze the pricing grid of various business platforms with yield/ utilization and advise on the effectiveness of applicable pricing models.
Prepare and circulate monthly management report.
Periodically review the overhead absorption rates to ensure that shared costs are accurately allocated to different projects and businesses on the basis of relevant cost drivers.
Manage, coordinate and participate in the development of Group master budget and also budgets for different business units of the Group.
Provide training and support to the business managers in relation to the budgeting and planning process and ensure their active involvement in the development of forecasts related to their respective divisions.
Prepare periodic budgetary reports including variance and gap analysis and circulate them to the senior management and the respective business managers.
Liaise with the business managers to define the mechanism of transfer pricing for the intra-group transfers of goods and services.
Perform complex consolidation of financial information involving multiple entities horizontally and vertically integrated with each other.
Enable the provision of business focused strategic financial advice and corporate financial reporting that assists the deployment of financial resources in the most effective way to achieve business objectives.
Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry and economic conditions.
Understand the dynamics of different businesses of the group and identify & evaluate effective cost reduction techniques available to the business.
Play an active role in the development of financial systems and procedures and to implement an effective system of internal controls.
Any other duties as deemed necessary and agreed upon from time to time with the Head of FP&A.
The ideal candidate:
Bachelors in finance, commerce, or economics.
A qualified accountant (ACCA/ACMA/CIMA).
Very good understanding of Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Experience of working on BI systems would be an advantage.
Strong background in financial modeling & analysis.
Minimum of 3-4 year experience as financial/ business analyst.
Good presentation skills both in oral and written reports.
