Financial Analyst

Job description / Role

Responsible for carrying out the activities that allow the Investment/Treasury function to deliver its day-to-day accountabilities. The emphasis of jobs at this level is upon managing internal processes rather than defining agreements with external financial institutions.

-Follows all relevant Investment/Treasury policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
-Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Investment/Treasury to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
-Takes responsibility for a number of minor Investment/Treasury activities to ensure that financial assets and funding requirements are maintained.
-Carries out cash flow analysis using models where require to forecast cash position and needs.
-Reconciles fund transactions, produce internal accounting reports and monitor Investment/Treasury operations to ensure the integrity of the function.
Participates in recommending changes to be made in controlling of finances to improve the management of funds.
-Undertakes financial modeling to aid management decision-making.
-Implements best practices to permit the function to operate effectively in a commercial environment

Education: Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
