The Role


The Role


To identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities and the associated risks thereof, both in the domestic and international markets.
Other tasks include:

• Monitoring the developments in the economic situation both locally & internationally and forecasting the likely trends in equity, debt and money markets.
• Regular preparation of research reports for the management/executive committee in order to facilitate informed investment decisions.
• Developing and implementing company’s investment plans and strategies to ensure the funds are prudently and optimally managed in order to achieve consistent returns in line with company policies and objectives.
• Manage excess cash and utilize liquidity that includes handling all banking facilities, credits and operations.
• Regular follow-up and monitoring performance of portfolio managers and reporting to top management.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Masters in relevant field, coupled with 5-10 years experience in the field of research & financial analysis in a leading financial institution /bank/investment consultancy firm is sought to qualify for the role. CFA from CFA Institute, USA is preferred.

While displaying a high degree of fluency in English with strong communication skills, the ideal candidate should be able to fit comfortably in a computerized environment. In addition, the candidate should exhibit team spirit and an impressive record of timely work, managerial and organizational ability and the stamina to work within a highly dynamic environment.
