The Role


The Role


To be fully accountable for the accurate and timely production of, regional financial reporting, management reporting and annual budget and semi-annual forecast.

Role:

Maintain an appropriate control environment of the region’s financial information.

Consolidate reports and analyze the commercial margin of the group in the region, in constant relationship with the back office, the front office and the risk management. Understand the key trading strategies to ensure they are reported and followed-up correctly

Organise and enforce a control and audit trail that will allow regular checks of the trades’ execution, in accordance with the group’s internal rules.

Control the daily or weekly business reports

Support the accounting teams currently based in Johannesburg, Alexandria and Mombassa in the processes and controls to ensure the financial results are reported steadily.

Ensure the flow of information or instructions between the central teams in Europe and the local ones in Africa or Middle East.

Requirements:

Financial Controller preferably in public company.

A 5 years experience in a finance department with a strong financial accounting exposure.

Chartered Accountant or equivalent.

Financial accounting and IFRS – Expert
