Job description / Role
Leading FMCG Company based in Dubai is looking to recruit a (i) financial controller, (ii) management accountant to manage all day to day financial accounting and reporting activities for the Company.
These roles are suitable experienced accountants from a blue chip background.
The successful candidate will gain valuable experience across a broad spectrum of financial disciplines in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
Based in Dubai Investment Park (near Jebel Ali) the role reports to the Finance Director and comprises of the following day to day tasks:
Financial Accounting
Manage the debtors ledger and minimise bad debt risk with the support of an accounts receivable clerk,
Process supplier payments and ensure any supplier claims are appropriately recorded and managed with the support of an accounts payable clerk,
Manage treasury including all bank accounts and reconciliations,
Payroll, month end balance sheet reconciliations and other financial accounting duties,
Year-end statutory accounts and auditor management.
Management Accounting
Lead implementation of new ERM and WHM systems.
Prepare internal management information, including:
- Daily Profit and Loss Account,
- Monthly Management Pack,
- Stock turnover and slow moving,
- Cash flow forecasting,
- Warehouse performance,
- Supplier performance.
Requirements
Educated to degree level or above,
Qualified Accountant CIMA, ACA preferred
Minimum 5 years accounting background
