Our client is a well-known and rapidly growing food production company with a turnover in excess of $2bn
Their objective is to become the largest food producer in KSA and due to internal promotion an opportunity has been created for a highly commercial Financial Controller to join the leadership team in Jeddah.
Reporting to the CFO, working as a number 2 finance leader for the group the Financial Controller will be managing a team of 5 finance professionals and will work closely with other business unit Financial Controllers internally and will liaise externally with banks, insurance companies and auditors.
Core responsibility will be to assist CFO in planning, arranging and reviewing funding requirements of future ventures, implementing and overseeing accurate production of reports, financial and legal controls and ensuring smooth operation by effective utilization of resources to support Group strategic objectives while ensuring compliance of policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Acting as a non-traditional Financial controller the person will be responsible for Recruiting, Leading and developing the finance team, providing them with coaching and training to meet business requirements.
You will be responsible to ensure that all financial and tax operations are effectively executed within the SOCPA framework.
Requirements
- Saudi National with SOCPA Certification
The position is suitable for a Strategic thinker who can work in a challenging environment and is experienced in change management
Academic and professional qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Finance or Accountancy.
- Chartered Accountant, Management Accountant,
- 8-10 years post qualification experience at a senior level / executive level in a large diversified organization.
