Job description / Role
Our client is looking to hire a Financial Controller to join a leading international financial services operation whose Riyadh branch is expanding their coverage and platform.
You will assist the CFO at a holding level to oversee and support all areas of financial accounting, reporting and risk management. You will manage a team of financial Accountants whist being responsible for the oversight and review of technical accounting issues within the financial consolidation. You will also ensure compliance aligned to IFRS. This position will oversee areas of financial planning and the management of forecasts and budgeting procedures to develop cash management policies and financial operations.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA), with a Big Four background and sound technical knowledge of IFRS and financial statement production. You should have 3 to 4 years’ PQE coupled with an ability to demonstrate leadership and communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. You should also possess strong skills within operational and financial processes linking to change and project management. It is essential you are a fluent Arabic speaker. Only Saudi Nationals will be considered for this position.
