Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Dubai - 25 - 35K + standard benefits.
Our client is an international organisation currently looking to expand their operations and take on an experienced Financial Controller with experience ideally in the Seismic or Oil & Gas Sector.
The role will act as a link between Operations and Accounts and be responsible for undertaking all relevant financial duties.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of the corporate overhead accounts
• Analyze and compare costs for all vessels (benchmarking) and suggest improvements
• Set up structure, coordinate routines, quality control and yearly audit and coordinate budgeting process.
• Coordinate and compile monthly and quarterly management reports
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts related to operations (revenue)
- Attend periodic review of figures with Finance Director
- Ensure review of final figures with Managing Director
- Outline rules for allocation of overhead costs
- Prepare monthly forecasts
• Investment analysis, financial due diligence processes and cost estimates as required by Managing Director
• Regular benchmarking of company vs. main competitors
• Follow up of Account Receivables
• Maintain, further develop and revise rates in the cost model

Requirements

• Accountancy Qualification (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA)
• Good understanding of seismic operations
• Good knowledge to accounting rules and regulation
• Experience from investment analyses
• Degree in Finance preferred
• MsC within Finance or similar?
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and ability to spot and identify the problems.
