Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing business. This role manages a team of 3-4 and reports directly to the GM. It will be responsible for controlling the companies located in the Middle East.

Main responsibilities are:

Implementing Accounting controls and procedures
Preparation and monitoring forecasts and budgets for the companies within the group
Maintain all accounting records including general ledger, receivables, payables, fixed assets, inventories, accruals and prepayments
Reporting financial performance in accordance with group reporting requirements and local regulations
Manages foreign currencies and minimizes exchange rate exposures within Corporate guidelines

Requirements

Successful candidate must have/be:

Degree in Finance/Accounting, professional qualification is a plus

Based in UAE and have at least 3 years local experience

10 years experience overall, at least 3 years in a similar controlling role in a medium size construction/manufacturing/ distribution company

Exposure to project accounting will be a plus

Ability to think outside the box and hands-on approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
