Financial Controller

Job description / Role

Our client, a global service provider within the energy industry is looking for a Financial Controller to report in to the Finance Manager based in Dubai.

Requirements

With around 8-10 years experience, all applicants should have experience in adhering to IFRS. Due to their global footprint, the reporting standards are very important. You will have also worked for an accountancy firm earlier in your career, ideally for minimum 4 years.

A distinct analytical approach is required and experience in the shipping, banking or oil and gas industry is preferred but not mandatory.

You will be a problem-solver and 'think outside the box' adding value by bringing ideas to the table. Our client always look to promote internally and this role has come about exactly because of that with the predecessor being promoted to a more senior role.

Portuguese speakers are preferred for this role however it is not a 'must', therefore you should still apply without this skill.
