Financial Controller

Job description / Role

Our client is a well established firm in Dubai looking for a financial controller to join their finance team.

- Preparation of monthly financial statements, as well as testing underlying reconciliations
- Participation in the preparation of budgets
- Participation in the preparation of annual reports for the parent company and subsidiaries
- Development and improvement of business processes, as well as updating standard operating procedures
- Participation in the creation of new subsidiaries and branches
- Controlling of foreign subsidiaries
- Consolidation of Group financials
- Reporting to the Finance Manager

Requirements

- Experience with preparation of external financial reports according to IFRS
- 4-8 years of experience within a accountancy firm
- You have a relevant financial background
- You are passionate and visionary in relation to the development of the financial department
- Flair for IT (MS Office and experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Navision Attain or equivalent)
- Fluent in written/oral English, Portuguese linguistic is an added advantage
